At the core of my practice as a functional medicine pharmacist is the belief that true healing comes from finding the *root cause* of illness, thus allowing us to remove the obstacles which are preventing the body from healing itself. Where conventional medicine often focuses on managing symptoms, I take a holistic approach to complex issues. I do investigative work along with thorough testing, with the result of exposing imbalances which can then be addressed. My practice focuses on two main areas, neuro-developmental conditions and mould toxicity. These can be separate or a part of the same picture. The neurodevelopmental disorders I look at can range from PANS/PANDAS, OCD, ADHD, ODD, and Autism spectrum disorder. The interplay between genetics and environment is well known with these conditions, and I leave no stone unturned when it comes to exploring the environment and the effect it has had on an individual. I then relate that to genetics, and create a picture of what has caused immune system dysregulation, inflammation and/or infection. Through thorough testing, and a detailed history, we can start on a journey together to piece together the information needed to help your child and family heal.

Mould can be a separate issue, or is commonly a part of the picture in neurodevelopmental disoders. This issue is underreported and under-diagnosed in Ireland and other countries, and I would like to bring light to the effects of toxic mould on our health, and the chronic issues that can ensue.
